One Less , was born in our hearts in 2010 as a way to help fund our own adoptions (the Petersons and the Fickeys)
God called each of us to adopt at different times and from different countries.
once our eyes are opened, we can't pretend we don't know what to do. God who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls, knows that we know and holds us responsible to act.

After discovering for ourselves the financial burden international adoption can have on a family, we felt that God could use our own fundraising efforts to help more than just our own families.
And so, the 1st Annual One Less was born. And it was amazing!

This will be the the 2nd Annual One Less race and will provide scholarship money for other families who have also felt the call to adopt here in our community. The race will take place in a beautiful Hill Country location called Joshua Springs Park and Preserve in Boerne, Texas. We will have a challenging 10K and 5K course and will also have a 3K run/walk for families, kids, and those who want a less difficult run.
