Awards are in, t-shirts are being printed, bounce houses are being prepared..

And please remember....if you do NOT run, it doesn't matter!! Our 3K race is a beautiful course that is perfect for strolling and chatting with friends! And is even MORE perfect for kiddos to test out those little legs! My kids have the best memories from running the race last year. It was a huge accomplishment in their book, whether they won an award or not. They can't wait to do it again, and I know your kids will feel the same way!! 

Plus, it's a great way to show your kids how to love others with our actions, not just our words. Tell them what you are running (or walking....or strolling) for. Let them get excited about being a part of bringing a child home to have a mommy and daddy. You would be amazed at your child's heart for other kids who have no home.  My kids teach me daily about compassion and easy answers. Because sometimes the answers are really easy...we just complicate them with ourselves...

"they don't have a mommy and daddy? Well, WE should be their family!!"

"those people live on the street? Well, let's find them a bed!"
Yes, things aren't always that black and white, but we can definitely learn a great lesson from our kids' blind and simple faith.
